CEC update on CAAT Pension Plan leadership changes

You may have seen today's announcement from CAAT Pension Plan regarding leadership changes, including the administrative leave of CEO Derek Dobson and appointment of new Board leadership.

As part of these changes, one of CEC's appointed trustees, Kareen Stangherlin, has resigned from her position, effective February 12.

CEC is following our prescribed process to appoint a new trustee - a careful process that ensures the replacement brings necessary skills and experience with the highest governance standards.

CAAT Pension Plan continues to report strong funding and operational stability. The Board of Trustees continues to oversee the Plan and ensure it meets all retirement commitments. CEC remains actively engaged in our governance role and is working with the Board as they strengthen processes and ensure CAAT operates to the highest governance standards.
