The CEC and CAAT-A bargaining teams have completed 24 days of bargaining without a renewed collective agreement. More dates are scheduled in October. Although the 2021-2024 collective agreement has expired, it continues to remain in effect.

The CEC has tabled comprehensive workload proposals grounded in the Flaherty Workload Task Force Report, faculty workload survey data, consultations with managers, CAAT-A demands,  and cost analysis.  

The CAAT-A Bargaining team states that it wants a deal before the collective agreement expires; however, their behaviour suggests otherwise.
